USC women's basketball will add talented forward and California native Kayla Overbeck from Vanderbilt to the program, head coach Mark Trakh has announced. Per NCAA transfer rules, Overbook is due to sit out the 2018-19 season and is set to see her first official minutes as a redshirt junior in 2019.

Senior midfielder Sydney Sladek has quite the trophy case. With two Nevada state championships, three state MVPs, a state career scoring record and a NCAA National Championship ring on her finger, Sladek has accomplished tremendous goals, but she says none of it would have been possible without her father. Trojans Medal At FINA Intercontinental Tournament
Four former, current and incoming Trojans have taken home a gold medal from the 2018 FINA Intercontinental Tournament in Auckland, New Zealand. Both the men's and women's U.S. teams defeated Australia in the finals to claim gold. The U.S. women's team avenged their loss to Australia in last year's Intercontinental Tournament final with a 10-7 victory. The U.S. men's team secured its gold medal with a 9-6 victory over the Aussies in the finals.

Trojan Great Tina Thompson Earns A Place In Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame
Trojan great Tina Thompson has been officially honored as a member of the upper echelon of basketball, named today (March 31) as a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Thompson is now the 10th Trojan and the fourth USC female to be included into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
